Wes Borlands contacts.... I think those are the coolest things on the market, the only thing is... where are they on the market!?!!?!?!? if anyone can give me a link to where I can find a reliable place to buy a pair that would be helpfull. I've tried many of the listings in Yahoo, so if you know of any, please leave a link, Thanks! 🙂
 
Sorry, can't find a link, but I know if you go to your local eyewear shop they should have catalogs you can look through.

My wife has several pair like that. Cat's eyes, black w/ star and moon, 8-ball, etc.

Yeah, I've got a pair of the wild eye contacts, but I was looking for something different than those... they're abstract, but not enough for me... that's why I brought up Wes Borland's oversized contacts.
 
wes borland looks cool, ive never seen him on stage, but i migh see him in houston for the anger management tour, but all the videos and pictures of them playing he always looks very unique and just all around cool.

in the dullness of the past few days, I stumbled upon a company who does sell the contacts that wes borland wears, there are a few down sides to ordering from them, one of them is the obvious PRICE, they cost $325 a pair, that isn't including shipping. A few other things that are negative is that they effect your Peripheral vision, so you can't see as well, but you can, just like any other contact only darker. The very last sucky thing about it, on top of the cost of the contacts, you have to get a perscription filled out by your eye doctor for them, so if you aren't insured you are going to get stuck up the arse about another $40. Overall Cost roughly:

Why? So you can be quirky and offbeat like him? Limp Bizkit is one of the worst bands i've heard in a long time. MTV bands should die.
 
Hey, they where good on their first album and in my opinion got progresively worse.. but like bonk102 said, this isn't about Limp Bizkit, it's about an image. Wether you like that image or not is irrellevant... are we now crapping threads in the off topic forum? it's about the contacts... not about limp bizkit's music, if you don't have any positive input please don't post.
 
WOOHOO! I just ordered my pair! they ended up being a whollapping $300, I have a pair of wild eyes that served their purpose, they where allot cheaper. But if any of you are still looking for a pair I got my pair at:

They have really nice customer service... could be because of the cost of the lenses, but it will be interesting never the less... if you would like to see what these things should look like once in the eye, I have a picture here...

Yeah, the Nookie Video is where I first saw the contacts, just took forever to find the contacts. I have the Nookie music video in MPEG format if someone who has a server would like to post it up on their site, I'll send it to you so the anandtechians can see what these things look like in real life.
 
Yeah.. Wall mart carries oversized lenses? Wow... I'd like to look into that... But I'd never buy a pair of contacts from wal mart. I've also looked into 9mm and they cost $350 a pair, and I got the same pair for $300 through lensquest. But thanks for the info! 🙂 later
