I would. I tell my boss to fvck off and he laughs 😀 Anyway, if it's an actual, serious situation, then I wouldn't talk to my boss that way either. That's just asking to be fired. Regardless of how poorly you're treated, you still need to respect the position that your boss holds, even if you don't respect the man.

Then again, if you don't care, video him firing you. I wanna watch 😀
 
If you can't explain why you wrote the email, then you'll probably get fired and rightfully so. I have, however, seen some friends write some badass resignation emails and have it turn out great. Friend of mine has an open position whenever he wants to come back to his old company, from the CEO's mouth.

hmm.

If you wrote something like that to me you would be fired. comeing in at 10:30? pfft. unless you are in the hospital or your child is in the hospital then get in to work.

 
dayuum...ok first of all, we're not talking about coming to the office. I live far away from where we're supposed to meet, for him 15min, for me more than 1hr usually. He wants me to meet him at 8:30am so he can go someplace else(his convenience).

Also, and this has been an issue forever but sometimes he treats me like how he treats his wife/children. He is an Indian and i'm not saying all are alike but he has a heavy hand approach and seems to have a constantly raised voice. Its not unusual to hear him yelling on the cell to his wife/children.

He also seems to think he owns my ass since i am on call 24/7 for production emergencies....he seems to take it as 24/7 for WORK. Its like he'll be doing something at some odd hour of the night/weekend and he'll just call and make me do work because he's doing work. Unfortunately he has my personal cell and home phone so he fvckin calls me on ALL the lines...pisses me off to no end. And, if i dun pick up the phone he acts like i've seriously fvcked up and wants an explanation. IF I'M HAVING DIARRHEA IN THE CAN AND I DO NOT WANT TO EXPLAIN IT, ITS MY RIGHT!!!

...well, these are just tidbits of our ongoing problems.

that logic is flawed, just because they pay u this much don't mean u gotta bend over...besides, he is an employee just like i am..he doesn't pay me jack.

Yes if you make that much it means you are suppose to get bent over and take it in the ass. Doesn't seem as bad as my friend who works for an i-bank that gets Blackberried at 11pm to fax something for an associate. But I'd do it for $100K+/year at the age of 22.

My cousin just got hired by them, top of his class from wharton.. making 275K per year plus bonuses and he just got out of college. :Q

Yea but he works 120 hours a week. What is that per hour? like $45/hour (not including bonus). Let's say with bonus he comes out to $750K...$125/hour. not bad...

Yeah, but the guy is in the top 1% at his age. Being at the top of the class at Wharton, the nation's BEST business school is no fvcking joke. That man deserves it.

He read the email late last evening and he called me kinda pissed off..talked a bit, basically justifying himseld, then talked about how he DOES put my needs into consideration...blah-blah, ended with we need to talk mano-mano, not by email/phone.

so we met at the datacenter today..at my suggested time...both of us seemed to be in a good mood. Smiled, laughed, talked...worked a bit...never mentioned anything about the email. He said he's going back office, i said i'm going home..see him friday since i'm off tomorrow and he's off thursday. Again zero mention of email.

Btw, I am Indian and I have worked in the US, UK and India with bosses from various ethnicities.
