And these are actually pretty nice CDs. They seem decently constructed, and the top seems to be well-protected. You can't hold them to the light and easily see right through them like you can with cheapos.
Agreed. I'm using some of the older 1x-32x rated "AT&T" CDRs right now, in my Sony 48x12x48 (slightly modified Lite-On) CD-RW, and the "SMART-BURN" feature says they will burn at up to 48x. My older (16x rated, I think) T-Y Fujis will only burn at 16x (although flawlessly). Of course, I'm not sure how accurate "SMART-BURN" is, because it rated my super-old 8x CMC cyanine discs at 32x, and when burned, they weren't recognized in any of my CD drives.
All-in-all, sounds like a good deal, nearly free.
