Let's not forget about the facts that she lost custody of her child and that her boyfriend was stabbed to death over drugs. Not exactly role-model material.

She did one great thing that I probably could not have done, but her past is beyond checkered.

If people can't transcend their pasts, what's the point in changing?

She's a very humble, kind person. And she has a lot of faith in that God that forgives through Grace. I don't think she has a problem with her past. And obviously Somoene cares enough to put her in this position.

I admit I did not know that when I made my post. It does tend to make one wonder whether her actions were motivated by courage or simply by drug-addled foolishness. Still, I've been favorably impressed with her in the interviews I've seen, and hope she has in fact turned it around.

Now she's "turned herself around" because she's wrote a Tell All book for somewhere between 500,000 and 1 million dollars...which no doubt a movie will be made of....which will land her even bigger money.
