looks nice, but does it match the house at all? from the couple pictures where you can see the house, it looks like all that stone might seem out of place

it's not stone, it's pavers. and yeah the colors match great. this is the same pavers/wall from the website of the company, and the color of our siding is the same color as this house.

the whole thing is angled about 1.5 degrees down to the edge of the wall (where it rounds and just ends). that is the natural direction that the whole yard is sloped so they kept it that way. you can actually see that it slopes if you look at the bottom of the wall as you progress from the rounded section down to the end of the wall.

and yeah, parties will be a coming!

how many sq.ft of paver did they install? seems kinda high,I think the going rate in my area is $12 and up per sq.ft, and the good ones can pretty much name their own price. I am in the process of doing some backyard makeover, the goal is to turn our backyard into a Japanese garden.
