That I agree with. I think the 3 is a sexy bitch. For an economy/smaller car, I'd buy it. Just not too sure of the long term reliability though.

The coupe looks much nicer- like a totally different car. I am seriously considering it, especially with the new engine. 140hp, more efficient.

I do too, but with the Accord name in the US you're automatically in a higher pricing tier.

Yes, the 2-door coupe might look a little like a Scion but it's a Honda and to me that's still better.

Every time a new car is revealed people will say it's a clone of this or that. Take a look at the sedan's taillights, and the latest A4's, and then realize the civic sedan was designed before that A4 rear end went public. It happens.

Saturn wishes it could be half the company Honda is.

Quite the contrary, its my understanding that Saturns are coming with Honda engines these days...so technicaly its already half a Honda. :laugh:

Ahh, so that explains why the newer Saturns get crappy gas mileage

(BTW, I hope to god nobody really thinks I'm serious But my 2001 Saturn does get better gas mileage than any Honda or new Saturn I've seen)

According to what I've read the new Civic engines will use some hybrid tech so will be 5% more efficient while offering more hp.

Thats the dumbest comment I've ever read in a car thread.

Saturn IS GM, GM started Saturn to basically compete with Honda. It was Saturn and everyone else who copied Honda, not the other way around. Honda started the whole "Sport Compact" trend among American Youths, and every company wanted a piece of it.
