Not bad. I REALLY like the exerior, sans the inside of the headlight - seems as if they could have done a MUCH better design with some chrome on the inside of it. It just looks like an afterthought. IMHO - the interior of the C6 is still underpar - honestly, I think it stinks. Nothing about that interior screams class - hell, even a 16k Honda Accord has an interior that looks WORLDS ahead of it.

the vipers interior is SO much more crappy than the new corvette. mustang is pretty shoddy too.

lol, a friend of a friend (20) just got one for his birthday m3 roadster.

looks good, but i cant find any sort of power ratings on it, although im assuming v6, about 350 hp, maybe a lil more since it does 0-60 in like 5 seconds.

Yep 😛 For 50k, they could have created the perfect package, but it's easy to see where they skimped on production dollars.

Compression ratio is now 10.9 from 10.1

Intake airflow has been improved by 30 percent

New ** 90mm ** throttle body & new composite intake manifold

it's 364 cubes (6.0 truck block, aluminum block though)


I think there is also either some serious underrating going on, or GM is detuning the LS2 somewhere. We see a 30% increase in flow over the LS1, IIRC the LS6 was about 30% also. It had a 11:1 compress vs this one being a 10.9:1 but this one also has a full 4.00" bore (bringing it to 6 liters) Oh well thats just a thought.

I agree. I looks like an RX8 from the front. That one top view does look like a 360 across the hood. Looks like a vette from behind though.

And this time, it does not look like some middle-manager changed the design at the last minute like the rear of the last vette looked like.

Front looks like a Viper.

That's what I think. Just look at the headlights and then look at the new scoops on the side. Those scoops are a blantant rip off of the Viper IMO. So much so, that I started calling it a Corviper.

Whatever the car looks like, it's still a big bang for the buck. People talk about M3's, but they aren't even in the same class as this car. The Corvette is more in the class of the Viper, Ford GT, Modena performance wise. If you don't believe me, just drive one. I eat all the other cars for breakfast at the track with the C5 Z06 including BMW's.
