Yet Another eBay Thread (Sort Of):
I ordered a CD from a seller on Half.com - The Used's self-titled album, if you were wondering. It's brand new, still shrink-wrapped, but from a private reseller rather than a retailer.
The CD came today (only four days after I ordered; he shipped first class, and I only paid for media mail), but the case is cracked. I have no doubt that this happened during shipping (the CD was shipped in a bubble-padded envelope), but I am not sure what kind of feedback to leave.
On one hand, the CD was shipped VERY quickly and got here MUCH faster than was required (and faster than I expected). On the other hand, the case is cracked.
What would you do?
UPDATE: I did what I said I'd do - I left very positive feedback and emailed him about the case. The email was very nice - I basically just said I wanted to let them know about it, but it was no problem and not their fault. I got an email back asking me if I wanted a new case, shipped free! Of course, I declined - it's really not a big deal. Case closed.
