Hey all... I know I'm still new here so many don't know me... but i've been hanging out in FS/FT for a while.

Well... I have an interview (job) today that I really need some good luck wishes (and prayers if so inclined) to help me get this.
I've been out of work for 3 months and it's getting a little tough with the family and all... so I need this.

I'll be going on the interview in a half hour so I'll update you all when I get home.

Hey again all!

Thanks so much for the support... I really think it helped.

This was the second interview for a Network Support Technician at Hospice of Michigan.
I REALLY feel like I naled it to. 🙂

For the second interview i was put in a conferrence room with the entire IT staff (2 over video conferrencing) and they interviewed me.

Within 15 minutes I had them all laughing and they seemed less concerned with my credentials and more about my personality.
I guess I fit the bill techno-wise but they needed to see if I was a fit with the rest of the staff.

They had 200 applicants, did 23 interviews, and narrowed it down to 6 interviews this week with mine being the last.
They told me I'll know on Monday..... they are checking my reffs and such.

The pay would be near $50g (just below) and would be ideal for the family life.

Thanks again for all the support and such... I really did need it. 🙂

Ok folks... tell me what you think...

I got a call today from the gentleman I interviewed with saying he would like to make me an offer, but his chief financial officer (guy above him) wasn't in to approve it dollar wise... so he'd be calling me back tomorrow.

Sound like I have the job???

I am SOOO hopeful. 🙂

My mind tells me I'm in... my spidey senses are tingling... but I still don't want to settle into the fact that I probably have it.... don't want to set myself up for a let down. 😉

The anticipation is eating me alive....heh.
 
OK... I finally got an offer and I accepted.... W00T!!!

I am really excited to finally be back to work. 🙂

I was offered $44k/year with full benefits.

It's $2k more than I was making at my last job so I am geeked.

Thanks for all the support guys... I really needed it.

Did you check Salary.com to see if the salary was appropriate for your location, title and responsibilities?
