They are playing in Birmingham UK, its only 16usd, I think it will be cool night, and without the gun violence - believe it or not - of UK Garage nights.

i've just started getting into garage as it is just starting to be span at parties over here. can you recommend some good producers?

im not really into uk garage, tho i like some craig david and so solid crew - try fuk wid us, others are ms dynamite, and romeo, but you are best trying to find a live mix download site, as its basically a street level movement. so solid's label is the major one tho. try www.urban75.co.uk they may have some links

hasnt the ne us had its fill of logical progrssion sessions? anyway its probably going to be web cast, so you could have a look on his label good looking records, also his residency is the end club in london, and im moving to london in jan!

I've seen LTJ & Co. play live twice in the states.... (charlotte, NC and charleston, SC) and it's always an amazing time! after the show in charlotte i stole one of the promo posters off the wall and had him sign it. He's a very cool cat. I don't know that it would be considered garage though, unless you brits define garage differently than we do over here... I like calling it atmospheric drum n bass.... that just sounds cool. 😎

if you know of where to catch the webcast, let me know!

well the end club has a web site and live radio, and it would play at a normal time stateside. i like his mix 'live @ rebirth' amongst others.

hes called intelligent drum and bass over here, 'two step' Garage is a different music genre entrirely its a lot more vocal and has a different bass and rythm (?) check fuk wid us and seven days

Indeed.. it was at least two or three years ago when i saw 'em in charlotte at Mythos downtown... I'm not a big fan of Mythos anymore, but it really was a great venue for LTJ because it was only big enough for about 750 people or so... Great atmosphere.

ok i went. I havent been to the custard factory before. about 100 metres up the sreet in an old industrial area you could hear the basss! when i got there i realised the 'club' is an empty swimming poool with a marquee over it. drinks were just 4usd for a bottle or pint.
the first dj was ok, japanses and looked like a girl, Bukem was better, it was comparably to the progression session cd's. Quite a good night, got asked if I could supply any pills as well, no naturally. I wont rush back, ive been getting bored of clubbing for some time, and cant be bothered dancing anymore, and thats most of the fun. got a perperoni and jalapeno pizza from my favourite iranian pizza shop, on way to meet with friends after (they fugged off half way through).
