Update....http://www.101study.com/ damn this guy is repeating the same thing with me....
I sold a Nokia 8260 on ebay and it was sold as-is and non-working...I got a few emails about shipping costs (in the auction says to be determined at auction end).....I stated at least $10 to those people....(didn't have a weight yet, and it's 3lbs actual).
So winning bidder contacts me on shipping after auction I tell him $10 (fedex is $6.27 actual and USPS 7.60 actual, fedex I need to box it and either way pad it....a box is about $1.99 and peanuts would add to maybe 50-75 cents for this.)......
He tells me he is taking a risk getting a bad phone (it was sold as bad) and shipping should be only $3.85 (impossible for this). He also is now suggesting I just take the battery and ear bud and stick it in an envelope...that should be just like a letter then.
Anyways like 20 emails since yesterday from this guy...his latest is thinking that it would be only $1.42 to ship a 5 Disc DVD set I charged someone $7 to ship (listed in another auction, he is investigating mine now that I showed him other nokia auctions with more shipping listed as well as his own purchases that high shipping was quoted in the auctions themselves (his claim is everyone only charged him about 1/2 what they stated, I have been on ebay a long time and never got a discount unless buying multiple items))....actually it cost me $7.47 for it to ship, not counting a new box and peanuts. On the whole deal I made 2 cents and still have to pay taxes on that sale.
I offered on the weekend if he were to pay by Monday (I had 20 packages to send) I'd do it for $7.50 in shipping (losing a dime) if I could just stick the nokia box in a priority box without padding. He didn't contact me until Tuesday.
This guy is a tool, he said if I file non-paying bidder he will leave a negative right away.
Any ideas?
