UPDATE, user posted Linksys router works with Comcast!

Ok, I have the linksys connected and it works.🙂 However, I just got off the phone with Comcast, and the girl told me it would be 1-3 days before service would be working with the new modem.:Q Can someone explain this???
 
Very big news, everyone that I have talked to has not been able to get their internet working with the Linksys.

FYI: I however got the D-Link at BB for a decent price under the "need it now circumstance". I got it for 109-30 MIR. Working fine with my Audrey (internet appliance) and win 98 machine. Still can't get it working on the new WinXP Pro rig.
