What Trump did was wrong. What Waters did is wrong. I know this may be difficult for you to understand, but in some realities it's just plain wrong to incite violence for any reason.

The political violence in this country is getting out of hand and it’s likely to get worse before it gets better. A 12-year-old kid was attacked on a school bus by his own classmates for the grievous sin of wearing a Make America Great Again hat. Yes, these are kids…and kids fight over stupid shit. But, this is a symptom of what they’re hearing from their parents, at the end of the day. I may have gotten into a fight or two over a girl, or some insult, but never over someone’s political beliefs or their pro-candidate attire.
No doubt today’s violent leftists would be cheering something like this on. In their minds, it’s better to catch this kid early and dispense with him before he can grow up to be a so-called fascist.

The violence and polarization is straight up Trump rhetoric. This is the example the POTUS leads with. If we cannot agree on that then any further dialog beyond this point is so very very moot.
Trump has made things worse, and that is a fact, but why is the Left committing acts of violence if the leader of the Right is a bad person? Surly there is some responsibility to be had on the left no? I mean, this type of thinking was why we joked with the "Thanks Obama", because Obama was blamed for everything on both sides.

Add something to the scale on side A and by pure magic something else will appear on side B to even the scale. The left is not "better" people than the right, they are driven by the exact same feelings, instincts, motivations as the right(we are all the same DNA) albeit based on slightly different foundation of beliefs. Of course there is responsibility on the left! We are all responsible for our own actions at the end of the day.. and violence is violence and should not have a color! But it doesnt hurt to take a step back and look at the mechanics of it all.

To my mind, Trumps behavior has doubled masses on scale A and thus on scale B.
We know that A and B has physical confrontations and by doubling their masses we have double the violence as a result.
It is still the single individual that is responsible for his/her actions.

I don't see how you can make it seem like Trump is responsible for those on the Left. If your response to bad people is to become bad, then it's your fault. Trump is bad for sure, but anyone that turns bad on the Left is not his fault.

I thought the POTUS was supposed to be president to all the people, not just "his base". He sits on the top, anyone leader who sits at the top of his/her organization is responsible for all of it. IMO.
