Actually, I think this site is just great. What do you folks think about adding a link to it into our welcome thread. I mean, the site doesn't rate or criticiseany projects, it just gives a great overview over what is out there. I couldn't think of a better spot to send new people to besides Wolfraider's and borg's sites.

I emailed the host of that site asking for permission to add the link here but I also told him that it's not a final thing yet and that we in TA have to discuss this first. I just wanted to make sure he has no objection to a link before I even ask you folks here.

I have always liked that Site.

I don't see why it shouldn't be added, its well laid out and easy to understand.

great find christian, i think that site should indeed be added. the more sites the better imho! :beer: i dont care for the color scheme but the info is whats important and its loaded with info!
 
Actually Spacehead came up with it not me. And after some more investigation I also found that amdxborg has a link to that site on his site as well. I just never saw it.
 
doh, my bad. thanks for the linkage spacehead 🙂 that is indeed a great link with tons of info. should for sure be added to the welcome thread imo.
 
I guess as soon as I get mail from the host of that site and his permission (hopefuly) I'll PM the mod if nobody has any concerns against it.
 
I just checked out the site and it is most comprehensive and does not seem to be connected to any other team.

My only concern is how would Mike (Wolfsraider) and Johan (amdxborg) feel about adding that link to our TeAm Welcome thread? They have both gone to great lengths to promote TeAm AnandTech ... and even though I see where Mike has already given an affirmative response I surely wouldn't want to hurt any feelings.

Just throwing my 2 cents into the mix. 😉
 
I can assure you Smoke, neither Mike nor Johan have a problem with that link. I talked to both of 'em and they are totally fine with it. I'd never do a link like that without asking my teammates beforehand.

Hey I've got no problem with it at all, afterall, I've had a link on my TA DC to that site since the beginning! The site used to be called Aspenleaf.com 😀
