I hope Colbert doesn't come off desperate like Jimmy Fallon and actually does good interviews as the host. Fallon's all about sketches and performance comedy. How many more hashtag skits and history of rap sketches is he going to do?

Sometimes I just want a good interview and not have the host laughing at his own jokes and being giddy the whole time.

That's why I'm kind of glad Craig Ferguson didn't get it... His "I don't give a shit, no one watches anyway" act is the best of the bunch for interviews.
