hehe been there done that. Sad part is it took about 6 days for me to get a package i sent to myself.

GTprojectx: sheesh. at least email the guy and find out what he wants done. IF he filed a insurance claim they will look into if it was deliverd. they may refuse his claim since it was deliverd.

anyway the nice thing to do is email him and let him know. Since it is only a $6 item odds are he will say just to keep it. But to just take it is theift.

man im glad people post about crap like this. it keeps my DNT list up to date.

I think Ylen13's responses have persuaded me more than anyone else's. I just emailed the seller. Let's see what he wants me to do with it.

Only because he is the only one that has agreed with you.

You his responses didn't do much if you've already emailed the seller to find out what he wants to do. That is what we have been saying.

Of course edit the "you" out. that's the easy part. the rest is what I'm having trouble getting. I didn't already email the seller before reading his posts.

backatcha.

Ok...lets lay this out.

You were just going to keep the case.
Tons of posters said to at least email the seller to see what he thinks.
Ylen13 said screw it, keep the case. $6 is nothing. Steal it.
You state that you emailed the seller and you are going to wait to see what he says (which is what everyone BUT Ylen13 has said). But in the same post state that you, "think Ylen13's responses have persuaded me more than anyone else's".

Following me?

I'm pretty sure you can't insure first class mail.

I think GT is emailing the guy because he sees the true nature of how he is acting through Ylen13. That is why his posts persuaded him the most effectively.
At least that's what I think is going on.

I'm a lazyass, so I probably would've said nothing, or offer to PAY the seller for the extra one. I can't stand waiting in line at USPS. I don't know if I just live/work near busy USPS offices, but I can't seem to get out of one of those places in less than 20-30 minutes everytime I need to ship something. You can't get me to go to through that for a $6 item. Hell no.
