Ok, my one question is why are you going to sell it for a proffit? You say it is a friend you will be selling it to...as a friend, don't you think that you would be trying to help him? If you are looking to make a proffit on your computer, sell it on E Bay. I recently built my sister a computer. It hurt, but I wound up $75 in the hole on that one. But I didn't even mention that to her. Why? Cuz family and friends are more important to me than a new case.
 
I bought a case a couple of years ago from www.lsmicro.com that looks very similar to the one with the door covering 10 bays. I went to their web site and it appears to be no longer available. It came with a 300W power supply. I am still using it for my main system and it is doing fine.

Be fair to the friend... 'Nuff said... As for the case, get something that suits your personal tastes. "Shop around."
 
DO you really need that many drive bays? Try an Antec SX1030, they sell it at Fry's electronics. It has 4 or 5 drive bays, 300W power supply, two case fans, and lots of room for extras.
 
ok can you tell me where I can get a similar case? no offense, but i didnt ask for commentary on other stuff.....plz........if you cant help, DONT, but lets stay on topic shall we?

Let me get this straight, you want a case with 10 drive bays and you want it cheap.
Lets be realisitic, how many people want cases with 10 drive bays? It's either a luxury good or a server case, neither of which is conducive to cheap.
 
alright here we go: first off, CLICK ON THE LINK....its not THAT unrealistic....its 10 bays w/300 watt PS for $120.......and i dont need a brand name one........PLEASEEEEEE........ONLY POST IF YOU KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A CASE!!!! sheesh....
 
well, if you want to know, you can find out by reading the first 3 responses.......they are completely IRRELEVANT!!!! now.......is it TOO much to ask for to post ONLY LEGITIMATE responses? guess so.........plz prove me wrong 🙂
 
The problem is that nobody wants to help you screw your "friend." And "yelling" at people (by using bold type and capitol letters)... well, most people don't care for that either.

It's people like you that really don't deserve to be on the forums. You could just say, thanks for the comments but I prefer being an A$$ to my friends. I hope your &quot;friend&quot; finds out that you are going to rip him off. Anyways, I highly doubt anyone will help you anymore. Those guys were right too, you WON'T be able to find a cheap server case under 100 bucks.

You found your case with 10 bays for under $100 you just said it yourself.
If you don't like the power supply it comes with throw it out and buy your own. Now stop acting like a 10 year old.
 
Sorry about the criticism, I guess we were all trying to get you to not rip off you friend and be nice, but I guess not, your choice.
