So, it's gone from mindlessly repeating Paul's mantra, to being delusional about the outcome of the election, to posting quotes to help comfort you at night? Keep the next few gems you dig up to yourself, Ron Paul is cooked... thank god.

I guess we should just dispense with democracy and go with the minority on every issue, eh?

Owait..you're out of your mind.

These threads remind me of people who would still, today, try and book tickets on the Titanic.

Bah, I can get messages at work or at church, or hell, even on the internet. We vote to hopefully elect capable people, not messages. ;)

Well...I love Ron Paul but the reason is that not only does he carry but he lives the message. I know where you are coming from though. The man is my new hero among human beings.

Would you say he's more Christ-like or Mohammed-like?

The only reason Ron Paul is still in the race is because he is afriad his followers will mob him too if he doesn't do what they approve of!

I just don't understand where all his money went. It was a horribly run campaign.

I liked some of the things he said, and clearly had better insights to foreign policy than many of the republican "talk tough, act dumb" hacks he shared the stage with. But in the end he was fairly inept at delivering his message beyond a looney tone. Its too bad as he eviscerated much of the Neocon theories and ideologies (the "Iran is NOT going to attack Israel. Weak nations do not attack powerful nations and survive" quote is demonstrative of this) but couldn't follow it up in a non-angry, more mainstream sort of way that the larger public could latch onto. Too bad, The Republicans could use a good dose of Isolationism and libertarianism to fix their F'up of a party. He had no shot, and would have been a pretty ineffective president anyway, but I was hoping some of his ideas could start to transform/reform the R party, but I don't see this happening as his legacy.

not really... both are based upon complete assumptions that the majority is always wrong. Even if the majority of the majority were just bandwagoners, the majority could still be in the right about the issue. You cannot draw any conclusions about an issue by the number of people who support a particular stance. Quotes like those are only good for refuting bandwagonning as a motivation. And it is no secret that Kierkegaard had some very flawed reasoning anyway.

Perhaps because you aren't looking hard enough?
Hell I'm a pretty far right Zionist conservative and he convinced me.
I assure you Ron Paul is leaving a dent in the Republican party.
Make no mistake...

Obviously. He supposedly raised more than anyone with his "money bombs", yet he was heard less than anyone. Where is that money?
