Critics thought "Dumb and Dumber", "Tommy Boy", and some of my other favorites sucked too. They like that artsy-fartsy crud.

Where's the story line? Where's the inner conflict? Where's the...

Like we listen to them.

Yeah, the critics never give NBGV movies the nod so I pay little heed to their evaluations.

I just bought Blade tonight. Gotta watch it again before I see II.

There?s a time to watch sappy thoughtful movies and then there?s time to watch stuff getting chopped to pieces.
 
my local newpaper gave "the matrix" an original rating of a 4 ... but then revised that after everyone thought it was awesome.. and it got a 9 in the next weeks review 😉

They all seem to say it is OK if you are into that type of movie. I guess if you even started this thread that you do like this type of movie and you should like it.

I'm seeing it opening weekend.

Sequels usually aren't as good.

But if Blade II is only half as good as Blade I it'll be worth watching.
 
Whatever...The original Blade was good enough to make me want to see whatever sequel they put out...

I'm going anyway 😉
 
I hope to see it soon. Blade was the first DVD I ever owned and the first one I tested out my HT system with. 🙂

The critics put my most favorite movie of ALL TIME on the Worst Movies of All Time list. Hudson Hawk. 🙁
