Seattle won a 23-17 NFC Championship game going into the Superbowl last year, then followed that up by tearing ass into the Broncos, making them cry like babies, shoving them into a time capsule, and then buried them such that no human could recover them until the year 2079 and when only Tim Tebow's great grandson is allowed to unlock them and declare them the most disappointing team in the History of the National Pillow Fight League (once known as the National Football League).

...just saying that these guys are nuts and who knows (yes, that was a division rival game, so of course defense was tight, but still).

Still, should be a good game--I sure hope it is. I feel the Patriots will pull this one out, but recall that the great Russell Wilson is currently 10-0 against Super Bowl-winning QBs.

Last year everyone thought Manning was an invincible cyborg who could score on any team at will. Throw Brady in an orange jersey and double the size of his forehead and I'd think I'd gone back in time a year.

Yawn. This NE team is no comparison to Denver of last year. Different offenses and NE has a better defense did Denver last year. NE also has better special teams compared to Denver and Seattle.

The funny part about that is Tom is a notorious shit talking, according to players that go against him. He was talking shit to Sherman before the game, and Sherman had to let him know what was up after.

He was talking shit DURING the game, Brady, (as with most players) will talk smack during a game, thing is you will never see Brady follow a beaten opponent to the sidelines after the game is over to talk more smack and get some twitter-time, he let's what happens on the field stay on the field, it's called class, something Sherman has little of.

Brady, obviously.

I can understand hating Carrol, and were it not for Wilson, I would have no love for the Seahawks...but I have to pull for them.

Same reason I have to pull for the Chargers.

I hate the Patriots more than any other team and also dislike Carroll; however, I find Sherman hilarious and like Wilson so I wouldn't mind seeing them get another ring. Regardless, I'm probably not even going to watch unless I'm REALLY bored. This ranks right up there with the Baltimore/49ers Super Bowl on my "Don't give a crap" meter.

I hate Lynch too... and I don't hate Brady as much as I used to. If this was Seattle's first go at the SB in a while (ie if this was last year) I could pull for them, but now that they're looking to repeat I don't care. Neither of these teams are underdogs, so I can't pull for either of them.

I don't get the Sherman hate. But, I did grow up watching wrestling. Perhaps, I just love those big personalities, especially when they are good enough to back it up.

I thought Sherman was a clown at first (referring specifically to the interview meltdown he had about Crabtree), but I think his bark is worse than his bite and he is a good guy.

If they play like last weekend then New England easy.

I am kinda pulling for Seattle but they can't play, at least the first half, like they did last week.

After consideration I have decided to skip this Super Bowl, my heart is just not in it. Absolutely no interest in seeing either team win. I believe I will have a marathon session of WoW instead. Gonna go break me some Alliance ass.

Also how I feel about Sherman. Say what you will about his antics, but off the field he has 10x the class--and 100x the talent on the field--of a dingleberry like Crabtree.

I just hope the game is more like Hawks v Pack rather than Hawks v Broncos from a year ago. Last game before a long wait for next season so I ain't mad bro

yeah. 2 straight seasons of the unquestioned top 2 teams in the Championship game is pretty much what the majority of people would want to see (once your non-top 2 team is eliminated, of course).

Hopefully it isn't terrible like last year. 😀

I am still massively depressed about the Packers loss. Thinking about beating the wife and kids to alleviate the pain......lol

That's why Brady chose not to chase a ref off the field a season or two ago for a "bad call", right?

Oh....wait....he *did* chase a ref off the field.
