Dude, do not rent Mullholand Drive...that movie was seriously whacked. If you were to actually stop and think about the events that occur and look at how the movie pans out it never pieces together.

If you want some good movies get The Bliever, Suicide Kings, Amercan History X, The 25th Hour, Stigmata, Three Kings, or Requiem for a Dream.

Mullholand Drive is great up until the last 5 minutes.

American History X is fantastic, as are 25th Hour, Three Kings, and Requiem. Good recommendations.

yeah i love/hate ameican history x...the "curbing" scene is the only scene in any movie i have to leave the room for

requim should be coming today...ill try 25th hour...never heard of that one

I didn't like American History X or Three Kings. Haven't seen the others.

What didn't you like about those movies?

I think American History X should be required viewing for all high school students.

The last 5 minutes were whacked, but it lost cohesion about 25 minute before then. The way I saw it no matter how the director/producer wanted to explain the events they just couldn't have taken place the way the movie protrays. I dunno, maybe I'll rent it again just to double check but the movie just fell apart about 3/4 of the way through.

I really should hookup my free CueCat barcode scanner, download CatNip and start scanning my 300+ DVD collection into DVDProfiler.com

We were forced to sit through American History X in Sociology when I was in hs.

It's funny though...the teacher had to block and fast foward certain scenes. Kinda ruined the movie. He fast fowarded through the sex scenes...the curbing scene...the shower scene....

I remember back in 8th grade we had to get permission slips signed to watch Shindler's List. All the 8th graders sat in the auditorium to watch this movie. It was quite disturbing...why 8th grade?? Kids are still too young at 8th grade!

That's funny that they made you watch it in Sociology. You might want to rewatch it (without fast-forwarding) if you haven't seen it since then.

Shindler's List should be seen by kids in regards to history. I remember seeing in the theater as a kid and I really appreciated it.

I have seen "Once upon a time in America" ten times over 10 years. I bought the DVD last month. It's definitely classic.

American History X is a great movie, although it's definitely not easy to watch sometimes.

AHX- I have a hard time being entertained watching irrational violence and hatred.

Three Kings- I thought it was just dumb and boring.

Just the last 5 minutes were whack? The whole movie was whack EXCEPT for the five minutes with naked and masturbating lesbians.
