That's a bit harsh, isn't it?

My movie tastes are great.

Why not try something by David Lynch... Mullhound Drive and Lost Highway were both amazing movies that the general public did not like. They both will make you think so much about them you will drive yourself crazy trying to figure them out.

I'm assuming you've already seen Donnie Darko.

That movie was a waste of time.

Wasnt thought provoking at all. Just read the time travel book and it explains the movie completely.

bah humbug to that.

Wonder Boys was great.

Was Tobey Maguire in that?

hmm havent seen that...maybe that will be on my list

I think I even own the DVD, not sure yet if I'll keep it or sell it.

Keep it! 😀

Nah, I rarely watch the same movie twice with some rare exceptions.

If it's open already I may watch it again then sell it or trade it on DVDTalk.com

Dude, do not rent Mullholand Drive...that movie was seriously whacked. If you were to actually stop and think about the events that occur and look at how the movie pans out it never pieces together.

If you want some good movies get The Bliever, Suicide Kings, Amercan History X, The 25th Hour, Stigmata, Three Kings, or Requiem for a Dream.

If you want some good comedies rent:

Rush Hour
Rush Hour 2

American Pie
American Pie 2

Road Trip

Half Baked

what are some other good comedies

try Joy Luck Club...so you can have something to bond with the gf's mom about.

hehe...too bad the movie's about Chinese women..not Taiwanese women. Oh wells. 😛

Mullholand Drive is great up until the last 5 minutes.

American History X is fantastic, as are 25th Hour, Three Kings, and Requiem. Good recommendations.

Thanks for the recommendations.

I wish I had seen 25th hour at the theatre but was mixed on the reviews.

Guess it's a definite rental.
