Update: My Website back online, thought it was stolen - 11-13-2004

Someone stole my freemcowen.com

Anyone know how I get it back???

According to Whois, I am still the owner.

But the site files have been deleted and replaced with a junk site.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Update: My web host was able to fix all the web sites pretty quickly.

Which forum??? I don't think it would be OT.

In any case this is a royal Political screwing over.

ICANN has allowed anyone to Hi-Jack a site just because there is no response from the domain owner by an anonymous prodding to take the site.

In my case I have kept up with paying for renewal of the domain (for example I am paid up for freemcowen.com till 2007) but my E-mail address has changed because my ex-wife got my account I had for 14 years.

Update

My web host was able to fix all the sites in less than an hour.

May have just been a wild server crash???
