I just installed my XFX Radeon HD 7950 and I did make sure the driver was update and every time I go on to steam and launch bioshock it says my graphics card is outdated, ignore it?
 
If your card works, don't bother updating it, it's not likely to need new drivers at this point as drivers are mature.
