Agreed, I should have posted the link in my original post. But I was too busy laughing at Magic Carpet's conspiracy theory that Nvidia clocked mutli-monitor clocks too low to win power usage benchmarks...
Nvidia may have clocked that profile more aggressively than AMD. I doubt, AMD 7000 series multi-monitor support is as "inefficient" as those power numbers may suggest. Certainly, no review site has done any serious investigation about this matter.

EDIT: It would be interesting to measure performance level in multi-monitor setup. I suspect, Nvidia will run out of steam faster, before switching to a higher clocked profile.

Throwing the words "Conspiracy theory" around a topic as touchy as nVidia vs AMD is going to ruffle someone's feathers. It's usually just better off to state things as they are or are not and avoid pointing fingers or name calling or anything other.

"You're an idiot!"
"No, you're an idiot!"
"I called you an idiot first so I'm more right"
etc

Let the facts speak for themselves and don't make assumptions on others thoughts and opinions.

In my experience both companies make great cards. The only area where AMD falls VERY short is multiple card configurations.... Crossfire just isn't as easy to setup or as stable as SLI. SLI uses way more power but its stable and solid.

If you REALLY want to stick with AMD then I'd recommend a single beefy card.

Well I know the Nvidia version has less sampling rates than the AMD version, which has 88.2 and 176.4 which is nice to have.

I've been searching for days for this information!

Does Nvidia still have this limitation? I just bought a GTX-960 and was disappointed to see the fewer number of sampling rates. And one fewer bit depth than my integrated Intel HD3000 graphics has.

Do you know of an online listing of this spec?

Thank you!

Next time start a new thread, instead of necroing one that's over two years old.
