Hi there, I'm having some trouble with a windows update. Upon startup it windows "configures windows updates...0%"..and it just gets stuck there.

So far the only way I can get around it is: boot into safe mode, in which windows "reverts the update changes", restart, and then I'm good. But every time I shut down, it starts all over again.

Is there anyway to find out which update is giving me this problem? or how to fix this?
(I turned off automatic install of updates, and that doesn't work)
 
Turn off the Windows Update service, delete the contents of the datastore & download folders in the softwaredistribution directory. Restart Windows Update. Run Windows Update from the control panel. Should clear up your issue.
