Seti Queue Status Page:

Pass-throughs queued 1
Connection State Connected

Is this a good sign? 😀

The seti queue is staying connected, this may be a very, very good thing. We will be able to see tomorrow. 🙂

That's how i have my herd setup SetiQ behind the proxy on (1) 2000 machine using the WSPclient software, then all the clients in the office have the "service-Seti CLI" install pointing to my SetiQ box...

I didn't know you can add frequency like that. :Q

When there are 10 cars going 60mph, is the combined velocity 600mph?

No, but you do have a combined total worth of 600mph between the cars. 😀 Think of it this way - COMPUTERS=MONEY (don't we know it). If I have ten $10 bills, I have $100 worth of bills. If I have ten 1GHz processors, I have 10GHz worth of processors! Crazy person you... 😕

Update: Didn't get to work on it much today, busy day at work. We will see what we can do on Tues (I am off Monday)

Yeah assim, I know how you feel, I though tI was so close yesterday too. I hate in when work gets in the way....... 😉

Hey Hoss... Just curious... can you put a machine in a DMZ for SetiQueue?

Port forwarding available?

or are you stuck behind that wall?

OK, due to the way things are set up within my organization, this is going to be much more difficult than I had originally thought. My location is connected to a main location. My proxy goes through an upstream proxy pool. This in turn goes through several different routes to connect to the outside world. 🙁

I am not saying that it won't happen, but it is less likely at this point. I will keep working until I know or sure it won't happen or it gets done. I will let you all know one way or the other when it happens. 🙁

But on the bright side, I crossed 200 WU today. 🙂

Congrats IJump on the 200 WU 😀

Sorry about the troubles......dang networks! :Q

Thanks for trying though...and who knows...just maybe! 😉

Hey IJump,

Could you use a program like this...

http://www.sankey.ws/proxomitron.html

Which would run on YOUR PC...along with a Queue....

Direct your Queue to the port (i.e. set it to 8080 and direct your Queue to go to port 8080 of your PC...in essence, running a proxy on your PC to get through the outside proxy and letting the Queue run through your proxy) for this program, which will automatically direct it to the web (port 80...Berkeley) and will also enter password and userID for you..

This program was recommend by a SETI@Home FAQ for using SETI and password/ID proxies...

Worth a shot...
