My P4 2.53B just arrived from Googlegear.

SL6D8 Philippines
FPO/BATCH #: 7225A941-0296
Version #: C16847-001
Pack Date: 09/12/2002

I'm gonna start assembling this new beast all this week in between school and homework.

___________________________

I finally assembled it and attached an Alpha 8942 with a Panaflo M1A. It's not all that much louder then the Retail, but cools almost 12C better.

It's stable as a rock at 150 FSB, 2.85 GHz, 400 MHz DDR 2-3-3-6, stock voltage. I haven't tried anything higher. Temp load never exceeds 50C (I could make this much better with my case cooling, which is 31 degrees. If the case is open, temps don't exceed 42C.)

I'll try for something higher when I get the time.

Same as mine! I got mine last Wednesday! Sweet chip. Mine does 150 at default vcore with no sweat! If my 8IHXP had PCI/AGP lock, I definitely think this beast could go farther!

Sweet. I ordered the P4B533-E, I think it has AGP/PCI lock. so we'll see how high I can get it.

I opened my case and pointed a small 6 inch desk fan i have onto my motherboard.

I upped the fsb to 155 to get 2.99GHz. It ran prime95 for an hour (I had to turn off the machine I left after that, so I don't know about long periods of time), with no erros. Load temp was right at 49-51C. I think, with excellent cooling, I could have myself a winner here.
