i've had that happen too....from what i've noticed....it's not worth coming out with it...b/c it always goes sour after that....just try and find someone else and convince yourself that you like that personinstead...i think it's better than destroying a relationship

DO NOT ever actually give her the speech. (Instead, drop little, enigmatic, self-deprecating hints to her, and then agonize over why she does not pick up on them.)

I did plenty of this! But of course she probably chose to ignore them coz she is a smart girl and cannot miss some things so totally obvious.

you're right, it probably doesn't work 9/10 times. But imagine how wonderful it would be if it does work out...

I don't regret that I told her how I felt today, but just saddened that I won't be able to hang out with her or talk to her, for a looooong time, perhaps never, from what I know from my own experience (the last time this happened, I didn't see or talk to the girl for like 6 years).

I told a really good friend I like her and now it seems like she won't talk to me for a loooong time...sob:brokenheart:

oh well, i have held it in for a looong time, and told her coz I just couldn't stand it anymore.

life sucks.

Congradulations on trying. The more you try the more likely you will find someone who you like and who likes you. Love and passion from afar sucks.

It could be worse...I told one of my very good friends that I like her much like you did, she in turn said she liked me too, than lated said she does not like me like that.

i've been through some similar stuff before and recently. they'll eventually start talking to you again. sometimes things just dont work out no matter how perfect you think it could be i guess. sometimes it even seems like it works out for a while, then poof.

i think i'm gonna go and cry myself to sleep now... j/k

btw alcohol is not your friend... personal experience, you may end up drinking A LOT and regretting it later.

How did you approach her with this? If i were you, i would have done it subtlely at first... for example, if you go swimming... take out the lining of the trunks, so that you have a little more 'bulge' to show. Or if she's coming over, sleep naked with a morning hardon ontop fo the sheets, so when she comes in, she sees you in all your glory. These will instill in her a sense that you're more than a friend... that you're a sexual person taht she can bone. THEN after some of these instances, then you can jump on her.

😕

I just give you props for telling her, same sorta thing happened to me about 8 months ago, became really good/close/best friends with this girl, then by the time I told her how I felt, she was already sorta involved with someone else, she had feelings too, but wouldnt follow up on them because she was already involved :\, "someone else" was one of my best guy friends too, needless to say I dont talk to him anymore. Anyway, it's best that you got it off your chest, I learned my lesson and from now on, I tell my feelings as soon as im sure of them, this way even if the outcome isn't what i want, i wont feel the 'too little too late' regret that I did before :\, good luck with your situation, hope it works out, im still friends with the chick i mentioned above, probably as good as before, we just have that 'history' there....dunno if nething else will ever develop tho :Q

i'm sick of some girls who aren't mature enough to handle these situations when guys make a move on them so whenever they ignore me they're never ever gonna be my friend again, since they don't value the friendship the way they're supposed to.

don't get me wrong, a lot of chicks were cool knowing that i had feelings for them 🙂

how did she reach when you told here

and add YAGT to the title

she said, "you better not like me!"

and when i revealed that I did, she said something like I can't talk to you until this phase passes.

I guess if its long enough it will pass.

She's not your friend if she can't understand how you feel.

I think the point is that she understands. She just doesn't accept it.

ouch. im sorry dude that always sucks

ive never has a girl say "you better not like me!" but i can imagin how much that must suck

lol yeah me neither.

but if some chick did, i'd be like "well i dont now b1tch!" 😉

heh, i remember doing this once or twice but it was when i was younger and of course never worked..

the trick is to make it casual.. 'hey let me take you out on a date' 'why' 'it could be fun'

just letting my mind wander 🙂

been there done that. Ruined out friendship and here, three+ years later, i don't even know what state she lives in.

i've done that before. still friends with them. even the one i married.

sorry to hear about your situation. i hope you are able salvage the friendship.
