Maybe take this week off if it's that bad?
I'm going to try to. I don't know if it will help, though.

when, in the same day, your boss confides that he got his tubes tied years ago, and your bosses wife, who you've been porking on the side tells you she's pregnant.

I think more times than not "waiting for something to work out" with a small company is a waste of time. If I were you I'd stick with them until you can find another job, then drop them like a bad habit.

It's time to move on when, and only when, the annoyance of finding a new job, starting a new job and dealing with the changes of a new job are less than the annoyances of dealing with the job you have now.
If you have to question whether you hate your job or not, then there are probably similar jobs out there that you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy.
A job should work for you as much as you work for your job.
If you find yourself giving up your sleep, sanity, personal time and social life for a job with no significant finanacial or personal gain, it is not worth being at.
It sounds to me not like you need a new job, but you are just burnt out on the one you have. Changing jobs won't fix this, it will only put it off for a while.
Just see if there are some alternate things you can work on or try out at the same place and maybe you'll pick yourself up.![]()
