Frankly your insults don't bother me, so flame away.
But, here it is. First piercing. After it heals I think I'll wear a black titanium barbell.

Actually, I think I did it because I wanted to do something that isn't my normal style.
Its actually sorta temporary. I've still got a couple years of college left. So, i figured if I wanted to do something off of the wall that now is the time. I'll remove it the day I graduate and begin looking for a 'real' job.
Thanks to those that are supportive, the rest of the replies are just hilarious.
 
No reason to take antibiotics before an infection occurs. If you do get an infection start taking antibiotics.

ive never known anyone who has had their piercing get infected, just clean it every day like your supposed to and yull be fine
 
Excuse me but you get antibiotics before you get a piercing not afterwards. Dentists do this all the time before extractions and so forth to prevent infection. Dont just take any though, get an Rx for the proper type.

That said, you probably dont need to.
 
Ever here of resistant bacteria? Yea, it comes from people using antibiotics whenever they feel like it. Don't use antibiotics when you don't have an infection, and if you develop an infection, consult your doctor before starting on antibiotics.

yep that, and you should always finish your whole dose of antibiotics even tho you are feeling better.

That's coo if you like it, but it doesn't seem to "suit" your look. But hey, I'm all about piercings so pierce away!

Just be prepared to have it migrate out in a year or so...almost all surface piercings will.
