*UPDATE* Help me diagnose my lower abdominal pain...

I'm inclined to believe it's a kidney stone. No, I'm not a urologist, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Kidney stones will usually produce pain, radiating to one or the other testicle or labia majora.

A beer {not 6 or more}might help,if you had a tough time going pee,


drink some cranberry juice,incase its a bladder infection,
avoid spicy foods,especially pepper.

extra water is a good idea too

go see Dr. tommorow.

Ive had kidney stones, the pain starts at the back over your kidney...then progresses in waves around to your abdomen. You will usually vomit, and crap (for lack of a better word) about this time.

That's funny, I've known a woman whose had both children and kidney stones. She said the kidney stones hurt worse than having her two boys.

I'm going to go with popular opinion on this and say it's most likely gas, caused by something you ate. It may go away on its own, or you may soon end up with a bad case of explosive diarrhea (even if you pooped already; the gas hasn't yet made it through to your large intestine, apparently).. believe me. i will NEVER forget that pain. until the drugs kicked in i begged, screamed, and pleaded with the doctors to just kill me. it hurt that much. of course, once they gave me demerol in the hospital and percocet at home (the vicodin wasnt strong enough) i really didnt worry about the pain anymore.

Well it's still hurting. I'm planning to go to the doctor first thing in the morning.

I have a pretty high pain tolerance. And the pain so far is nothing compared to what I've experienced before.
When I was in 7th or 8th grade I had Testicular Torsion. Men's Health rated it #1 as the most painful thing a man can go through.

ER Nurse for 6 years, 7 years ICU, currently doing the walk in urgent care gig cuz I'm supposed to have telepathic skillz @ triaging patients.

I had kidney stones, ureter stent, lithotripsy, sucked bad...

PSA everyone drink lots of water every day to prevent kidney stones.
