Okay, I woke up this morning around 8:30. I felt fine. Ate some cereal, took a shower and began my normal Sunday of laying around and playing computer games.

Around 12:00, I decided to go grab some lunch. As I'm sitting at a red light, I have some terrible lower abdominal pain. Like, right below the belt and above the genitalia. Kind of felt like I had to pee really badly (and someone was punching me in the bladder), but I didn't need to pee. The pain would come in waves. Sometimes the pain would shoot up through my upper abdominals as well.

Now, at 4:45, I'm sitting here with in dull pain wondering what is wrong. Occasionally I'll get a wave or two of pain and then it will subside back to dull pain.

Current plan: Take Ibprofen and go see my doctor in the morning if pain presists.

Any ideas of what this could be?

**UPDATE**
Well, last night, around 10:10 PM, I encountered extreme pain, so I went to the ER. They weren't sure what it could be so they gave me a pain killer that only affects the bladder (where most of the pain was at).

Got home about Midnight, tried to sleep and had the worst pain of the day. I called the ER and they said I could take Ibuprofen, so I did. 30 minutes later I call them again with the pain presisting.

I go back to the ER. Turns out it was my appendix. As of 5:00 AM this morning, I no longer have an appendix. I'm still in a good deal of pain, but the percadant is helping.

Thanks for all the help guys.

I'm not lazy. My normal clinic isn't open today, or I would have already went. God forbid I ask a community of thousands of people for a little help. I've already searched webMD and every other non-pay medical site.

I was hoping someone might have experienced a similar problem and could help me out. BTW, this is the Off Topic forum, we don't just discuss computers here, in case you didn't notice.

Oh well, thanks for the entertainment anyway, Evadman.

Funny, I've been here 3 months longer than you, yet you have 14,000 more posts than me, so I'm sure you've made your fair share of nef threads.

I hope you're right. I've had a few friends get kidney stones and I'm worried that kidney stones might be my problem.

Absolutely true. But I would not go to WebMD forums and ask if anyone knows how to fix my computer. AT is full of computer nerds, not physicians. There are a few here however.

Besides, what would you do if someone told you that you had "such and such" and you had 2 hours to live unless you got to a hospital? I bet you would die in that chair :p

Once at around 10:00 am and again about 2 hours ago. Not constapated.

It doesn't feel like it's in my intestines, it feels like my bladder. BTW, right now it hurts to stand up straight.

Maybe... :D

The reason I posted here is because I've read several other threads similar to this here.
I would have already went and had it checked out if a) my clinic was open, b) my Health care didn't charge me for going to another doctor without my appointed doctor's permission, and c) ER is too expensive.

If you think it might be bladder/urinary tract related, it couldn't hurt to drink some cranberry juice.

Abdominal pain is really difficult to diagnose without a few tests, could be as simple as a stomach virus to the big cancer.

if it persists longer than 24 hours, you begin passing blood in your stool, vomiting blood, running a fever over 103, or have pain of 10 on a 0-10 scale, go to the ER...

Otherwise without a Urinalysis, KUB (x-ray of your kidneys ureter & bladder), blood count, etc, it's really hard to make a differential diagnosis.

well i have had kidney stones several times in my life, and i could have described those exact symptoms every time i had them. cranberry juice can help. i HATE cranberry juice. the best thing to do is go see your doctor when you can. the pain might go away tonight, and that could be that the stone just floated to somewhere else. the first time the stone was very big, adn since it was already in the bladder they couldnt use the laser/pulse thing to crush it. they had to go up and get it....and we all know the route they would have to take. good luck. my urologist told me that a kidney stone, along with a perforated ulcer are the 2 things men can have to come closest to the pain of childbirth (but still no where near) moral of the story: go hug your mom.

and good luck with the pain. at least you will get some percodan out of it.
