I heard sometimes those pencil vdroop mods can be harmfull in other ways... IDK specifically what they are, but I DO remember reading about it. *hitting google*

So after MANY more tweaks, I'm quite sad to announce that 3.2GHz is the TOP I can get. 3.6GHz won't even load windows at 1.45v, 1.35 VTT (I won't go more than this). 3.4GHz loads windows at 1.4-1.45v, up to 1.375 VTT but instant reboot as soon as you hit go in Prime95. I got 3.2GHz prime stable with 1.38v, 1.3 VTT so I guess i'll leave it there. I REALLY wanted at least 3.5GHz. O-well, anyone want to trade for a E3110/E8400 that can touch 4GHz?
After not hitting my goals on THREE cpu's in a row, I guess I finally have to concede to Aigo and say it might just be my mobo holding me back. Though I still refuse to spend $200 plus on a mobo!

make sure you read up on GTL value's b4 you get it tho. However the P35 isnt as picky as the X38 and X48 with GTL values.

You NEED TO APPLY MORE VOLTAGE! Your on water now, run with the big boys and look over your sholder at the air people.

Gill also on Quads there very nit picky about FSB Termination Voltage. I recomend you set it @ 1.4-1.5
Your board will probably take more stress from it. Also im guessing your mosfets are heating up big time. Your gonna need to put sinks on them if there bare, or have active cooling on it.
Did i also forget to tell you Gill, Quads stress the HELL out of boards expecially under load. Even my ASUS P5K-DLX didnt last past 1yr under constant load. Which is why im now on a DFI X38.

make sure you take the MCW30 apart and either lap both sides, or dip it in vinegar for about 15 min and then rince with distilled.
It was sitting unused for quite a while now.
Dont worry about the base, its flat on both sides.

Was running it at 3.4 at 1.45v in bios last night, didn't prime it yet though but it took my usual test of superPi, email + internet like a champ!
I'll torcher it tonight and see what happens. It will do 3.6 @ 1.4875v in bios but errored on superPi so there was no point in running prime.

You guys make me wish I had my CPU in a separate loop (currently in line with 2 HD3870's) so I could push it farther. Right now it's at 3.1ghz with 1.296v in Windows (set to ~1.35 in bios). With these settings, it runs at about 53C under load.
When I run F@H on both 3870's, the CPU gets up to 70C (with the lowest fan setting, if I turn it up the CPU tops out at around 65C)
