I don't know what type of kid your son is, but it may be a good idea to get him to try driving something again. I know... that probably sounds like odd advice given what happened, but speaking as someone who had a mishap on his first time driving, it may affect him. As for me, I was maybe 13 or so, and my dad had me drive my uncle's old truck. I don't do terribly well under sudden pressure like that, and to jump to the end, I backed into a tree. Frankly, I did not want to drive after that at all, and to this day, I still don't like driving trucks... or just trucks in general. Stupid Ultra King Cab Texas Ranchero Edition takes like 5 parking spots. :|
