As to "why a projector"....

It's awesome being able to setup a big screen in the backyard for kids to watch movies. If you've ever had 5 kids eating popcorn in your house you know that shit is EVERYWHERE when they are done. Who cares if they are outside.

Throw on a movie, light up a fire pit. Make smores. Let them curl up in sleeping bags. Ect. It's a different experience than sitting on a couch and watching it.

And with as expensive as movie tickets are anymore, it doesn't take long to make up the projector costs.

If you can setup a projector and screen outside, you can setup a tv outside
