No one knows the choices a "dead man walking" will make.

Die quickly, or in agony............. but surely dead........... that takes courage.

I seem to recall a story or two about someone above the fires "riding the debris down" when the tower collapsed under them and they made it out relatively unscathed. Geez, I know I'd have crapped my pants if I was that person.

The thing they won't talk about is the fact that they used teleguided planes loaded with passengers and equipped with cellphone jammers to make it look like the towers went down due to the planes and not controlled demolition.

Wow, you make Fleabag look like Einstein. A simple logic applies here, since your going to fly a fully fueled jumbo jet into a building at 450+ knots rigging it with explosives is unnecessary, even the fiercest conventional bomb the military possess (and they got some whoppers) would not come close to the damage caused by the kinetic energy + the resulting explosion and fires..

i guess the article is talking about how specifics were not ever given? not sure. someone sent the article to me today and i found it pretty intense so i posted it here. i definitely remember seeing pictures but i'm sure i never heard the stories of the people in the article.

Lets pretend.....what if it was never mentioned??? Conspiracy.....nooo.......
We all know there were jumpers.....mention or no mention...it happened!

The doors to reach the roof using the stairs where locked so nobody was able to get onto the roof. Also because of the TV antennas on the roof it would have been difficult to get anybody except by using a sling from a helicopter. Also the biggest reason is that nobody thought the buildings would go down. When people on the upper floors called 911 the operators would tell them to shelter in-place and wait for rescue. The firefighters where trying to go in teams to knock down the fires on the upper floors to clear a router to trapped civilians. It wasn't much a consideration that the buildings would collapse until they actually collapsed. The play book that was being followeed that day was that if the building survived the initial hits that it would remain standing.

There would not be enough time even if a chopper had easy access to the roof, only a few at a time could be brought out, that's why emergency evacuation plans never suggest a helicopter will be able to save you, try get down as quickly as possible is your only hope.

Wouldn't it be possible that they didn't actually jump? The building was full of smoke so they bust out windows to get fresh oxygen but at that height the pressure difference could have sucked them out of the building? Just wondering.

Don't know why they don't sell better...

Really people this is not some secret government conspiracy.

Go back to hitting the bong.

Also, bring some actual physical proof that it was a conspiracy. Every document and every video file records this as a terrorist attack.

There is no proof that it is a conspiracy. This is a proven fact.

He has a point... it could be that unknown agents were throwing already dead corpses out the window to divert attention away from the demolitions team. It doesn't make a lot of sense that so many people would jump. :colbert:

Yes it does. It's called smoke and fire. Try going in a burning building sometime and tell me you don't want to jump out.

Fail post is fail.

Some if not most of them were not trying to commit suicide. If you had not learned anything from the Rhode Island bar fire, people panic and rush to the doors trying to escape and breath. Most of the people that fell were likely pushed out.

I thought the article was well-written, and touching. The story about that fireman on the ground was insane.

Lot of douchebaggery in here, too. I know, welcome to the internet, etc.

isnt there a video based solely on the jumpers? I remember watching it a long time ago and it there were firefighters in the lobby...and you can see all the jumpers falling through the glass roofs and hitting other parts of the building....its disturbing

Has anyone else heard of this'
