You say that now. Watch when it ships on August 4th.😛

Oh well... I guess its best to wait and move on.
After we get it, we will probably hate it, or find it won't run some of our programs, or this or that. Everyone will be griping they wasted $30. Want to know how to revert back to previous version.
Isn't that how it always goes?
Like waiting and waiting for the cake to get done, then realizing you left something out and it tastes like crap.
Instead... lets think about "Christmas lights" to kill time.

had none of that when I went to SL.

Going to be a LONG download for me. Is there a way to see download time left?

When Lion updates come (10.7.1, 10.7.2 etc.), will we have to do it through the MAS?

Same. I'm with the in-laws on their decent-but-not-awesome internet. If only this came out a few weeks ago, I'd have had it in no time 😛

edit: guh, 5.5 hrs.

Just got it up and running..... my MBP hung on first boot 😱

I like it so far, safari full screen is quite nice

Did they fix Internet Sharing? On the GM Release I could not share my tethered iPhone through Airport. Actually Internet Sharing didn't work, period. Clean install as well as upgrade.

can anyone confirm?

My Firefox and Chrome keep crashing when I try a 3-finger left/right to navigate pages (back/forward). Is this happening for anyone else?

Guess I'm forced to use Safari 5.1 for now which feels quite fast, I must admit.

Should we start a new thread for Lion install/use/first impressions/issues?

I'm still downloading. 15 minutes from being done.

Will any previous personal data be lost via update/install over top of snow leopard?
That is, is first backing up personal data necessary? Itunes media? File, doc's, etc?
