huh?

it covers medical/dental/vision. copay is $10 for general practice visits and specialists.

not exactly sure what you mean 'what does it cover' i've always had insurance that covers similarly to what i mention above.

it's blue cross blue shield and VSP for vision.

$500 for a whole family is kind of low. That is how much it costs me to get a single plan for myself...is the other company sponsoring it? Is there a co-insurance?

maybe the company is also covering some of it, i'm not sure. i assume they are. this is about the same price i paid in my first job outside of school, and then my second the company covered it 100%.

maybe it seems low to you cause your company doesn't cover any?

LOL....I am employed now...so nothing is covered. ;) My single plan to get equal coverage from my last employer was something like $450 a month through Blue Cross.
