Yes, you could do that. However, it is considered fraud and if you are caught you will be fined (at the minimum). Is that risk worth saving $30?

Hm....I suppose that is true, however, if a family or friend wanted to..ummm...get you a gift and asked you what you wanted...you could suggest that second card to them....oh, yeah, and of course you probably also had this urge to bless them with some type of monetary gift .....that couldn't hurt either..could it?

I just got mine yesterday, opened the box and found ...

A FIC Radeon 9200 128mb DDR AGP (DVI+S-vid).

(I ordered the Radeon 9100 64MB DDR AGP)

I wonder how they'll do the rebate on this one?

How are people checking their rebates? I tried "wheresmyrebate.com"..but couldn't find any record of the rebate. they should have received it by now, as I mailed it over 2weeks ago........

How long does it take to show up on the website?

Visiontek rebate was denied for me. Told that no UPC received. I contactexd richard wallet and he emailed back saying that he will look after the issue and follow up on that.
Who knows? If I dont get my rebate, this will be my first and last TD visit.

Hey JoyDutta!

How did you know you were denied the visionTek rebate? did you check it on the "Wheresmyrebate.com" website and just search for your name?

Wheresmyrebate.com has denied every rebate I've ever sent them, but they have always been quick to clear them up with an email explination and a faxing of the same documents again to a number they provide. I just ordered the 64 meg pci 9100 about an hour ago and I hope by the time they get my rebate, they clear everything up... every box they should get from these deals should be the whiteboxed TD's, right? How can they deny every one?

I also preregistered for my rebate this time through my new wheresmyrebate.com account. I hope that helps speed the process.....

Edit: Even when they do get things fixed up... its not always what you want to hear. In my last conversation... with them (mid september), they told me that my $20 Gigafast rebate was approved and would be mailed <gasp> November 28th. When I questioned this absurd date... she hung up on me...

It needs two monitor (vga + vga, vga + dvi, dvi + dvi) outputs to have dual monitor support. The cards that were linked do not have two monitor outputs, therefore they do not have dual monitor support.
