UPDATE 2: No chance of playing Echochrome on DS is there?
So I just buy any microSD card with the DS and load an emulator and roms onto it and just plug it in and can play NES SNES games just like on a PC?
-----------------------------
UPDATE: Are these easy to hack? Is there a guide somewhere? Is one harder to hack than the other? I heard that sony hates that the PSP is being hacked, did they prevent that with the new PSP?
The DS can't play SNES roms??
What is the difference between DS and DS light?
Also what is the price difference?
Thanks

I plan on ordering either of these sometime in the next couple of weeks but I don't much about either. It will be primarily to ease the long travel times I often have. I don't see myself using these for anything other than occasional gaming, so not really looking for other features.
Pros/Cons of each? What are their prices (Canada)? What are their battery lives?
What games do you recommend for either?
Games I think I would like are simple pick up and play casually such as Echochrome (PSP) Brain Age (DS) but I am open minded.
Also I here that the PSP can be cracked to play games off a memory card instead of the mini cds that come with it, is this still possible on new ones? Does it increase battery life? Allow you to play other games?
What versions are best? DS or DS light? PSP or PSP Slim?
And anything else I am forgetting.
Thanks
