CT236298 and CT64M64S4W75 should be $179 instead of $170. How do I find the $170 deals? Thank you.

Cleared cookies but link only good for 10%, $10 off coupon still came up and free 2nd day shipping....out the door with 256MB SDRAM for $34. not bad....been using my father's machine for work while I await my Radeon 8500 RMA...he only had 64MB!!!! thought his internet was what was slowing him down...anyways one of my 128MB sticks goes to him and this new 256MB raises me to 768MB, don't want to deal with 4 DIMMS and a BX6r2 due to horror stories I hear.

Update 10/02: new and updated coupons for PC133.

Looks like some ofthe old coupons has been changed specifcally, the
256MB PC133 SDRAM - $10 coupon is now only $7.

But the good thing is now there's a new coupon for the 512 MB part. Also, it looks like there's a new 512 MB PC133 CAS2 part CT64M64S4D7E.

Here's the new updated prices assuming the 15% off link still works.

512MB PC133 SDRAM (CT64M64S4D75) $59.49 - $7 coupon = $52.49
512MB PC133 SDRAM (CT64M64S4D7E) $59.49 - $7 coupon = $52.49
256MB PC133 SDRAM (CT32M64S4D75) $40 - $7 coupon = $33.
256MB PC133 SDRAM (CT32M64S4D7E) $40 - $7 coupon = $33.

I'm very tempted to jump on the 512MB CAS2 part. I know you can get 512MB for around ~$40 at Fry's, but those are like no name/mixed chips, and definately NOT CAS2. Think prices will go lower, or should I jump?! :)

Hey Rossman, I am also looking for 256 or 512 stick of ram for my Dell Dimension 4500.

I was wondering how much did your roomate buy the 512 for? and also,...how does Crucial compare to Kingston? I always thought that both are extremely good, and also Office Depot is currently selling the Kingston (256) for only 25 dollars are MIR and Coupon I think. Please let me know!

Thanks in advance!

He bought 512MB DDR PC2100 from Crucial.com for $119.84 shipped, he could have saved more using eBates.com but chose not to.

Kingston and Crucial both make good RAM, if you're going to OC (overclock) then you should buy Crucial or Mushkin. My 18.GHz 4500 is plenty fast for me so I have no need to overclock my system, I would buy whichever is cheapest.

Man, I remember when I got my 2x256 PC2100 from there for $70 and some change total! Amazing how memory prices fluctuate as much as gasoline does!!! I wonder how much it actually costs them per stick of memory.....cuz i'm sure they were still making a profit at $35 each.......capitalism at it's finest!!! :D

While in the big scheme of things, this isn't that hot, at this present time, it's as good as it gets if ya need more memory!!

Kingston is hawking 256 of CAS2 PC133 for $27 and 512 of CAS2 PC133 for $52 with free 2 day FedEx shipping, but alas, like Crucial, they collect CA sales tax. Probably these memories are pretty similar, but Crucial has a better reputation. Still, if you want to order more than one stick of a given type of memory, Kingston would probably get the nod, since there are no "coupons" involved.

Anyway, I ordered the 256 MB of Kingston PC133 from Office Depot for about $13 after $25 MIR (theres a couple of threads over at FW). In my experience even CAS3 Kingston PC133 will do CAS2 without breaking a sweat.

Guys,

Reading through these posts, I'm only getting more and more confused. I'd like to buy a stick or two of 512MB PC133 CL2 SODIMM.

Could anyone tell me exactly how much a 512MB SODIMM costs and where and how I should obtain it at that price?

I'd greatly appreciate the input...
