Great deals... was looking for a Maximum PC subscription earlier today and could only find 1 year for $12. This site has it for $7. Great deals!

EDIT: Damn, just found it for $4.95 at http://magazinevalues.com

I have subscribed to about 5 magazines thru BestDealMagazines.com. I have received all the magazines. One of the magazines took almost 3 months to start.

As bit said, the best thing about this deal is that they do not renew the subcriptions automatically. Since the renewal notice comes from the publisher itself, the renewal prices are same as their regular subscription rates.

Last time I ordered from Best Deal, they charged me twice for a mag subscription - I called and several attempts at email and phone later, they refunded. One of the problems was that they claimed their database got corrupted so a rep emailed me wanting my credit card number THROUGH EMAIL. I said no so he told me to wait several weeks while they restore their database for me to get my refund. I eventually did but I'm not too impressed with their security measures for their customers' credit card info.

I'm looking at ESPN The Magazine....it's $3.29 for a 1 year.....$17.95 for 2 years!?!

Why?

Can't I just sign up for 1 year twice and then ask EPSN to consolidate them to 1 years?

BestDealsMagazine.com linkified for the lazy (like me...)

Bah, I never saw the post above... poo.

Anyways, this site looks very sketchy - especially the https:// thing because their shopping basket is not in a frame as they say... I think I'll pass on this one. Nice deal for those who jump on it.

I signed up for the 2 year subscription to ESPN. Turns out that with the two year
subscription, you get better quality issues with more of the mistakes
edited out, hence the higher price.

Well, I just ordered 3 years of Maximum PC, 2 years of PC Gamer, and 1 year of Computer Games for $38 total from magazinevalues.com. Their Bizrate reviews weren't too bad, so here is hoping for the best!

Magazine Values and Bestdeals look a lot alike. I ordered from magazine values and thought it was a great deal. However, if you read the FAQ, once you've subscribed, you can't cancel your subscription and get your money back. They order the magazine for you through a clearinghouse. I ordered or renewed seven magazines through them.

I subscribed 3 years to Mobile Computing for $9 ($3/yr). I just let them know I never received the magazine because they stopped publishing in August 2002. Yesterday, they refunded my money. This is an honorable and legit company.

Just renewed the family subscription to Readers Digest for 3 years for a total cost of $10.50 and subscribed to Analog Science Fiction & Fact for me. I had subscribed to Analog for DECADES until they finally priced themselves totally out of my comfort zona a couple of years ago, but $13.97/year I can live with! ;)

Thanks for the lead.
