Just came back from OD with a LEATHER EXEC CHAIR, PAID $68. IT was brown leather. The same chair but black is on display for $159, retail $333. I found it in a box (it was last one) sitting in a corner with the sign $68 on top of it. It rang up as 62 w/taxes came out to 68.07....it's a sweet chair, reclines and everything, SKU #266991
They also have a POLAROID BUSINESS camera for $23 regular is $56.
OD RULES!!!

I just got 2 Linksys 10T Base home network kits for $15. They both had a hub, two 15' cables, two network cards, and some software. One came with SOF Gold, the other had some other new game worth $30 or more.

Soy: It depends on the specific store. The store in Gaithersburg, MD has only a few of these deals. I suspect there are some other people cleaning it out before I get there. Some things are only marginally marked down. Others are out of stock. The only deals I found there are the Gravis game pads and the 5-in-1 remote controls. I found these on the racks. They say you should ask a CSR to check inventory for you.

they claim that they dont pricematch their own stores. i tried that when dvds were 50% off in some stores while others had them for 25%

It just so sad that my local OD seems never do clearance, or I might just missed it everytime. How do you guys find it? Is on local newspaper or it is in a special section of the store?

I just got back from my office depot, and to my surprise, they actually did have a clearnace table setup... I saw a HomeLink Phoneline Network in a Box HPN100SK Linksys on clearance. The sticker said, OG Price $69.99, Clearance $29.99, i was like, oh, that's not bad, maybe I will need it someday, so I decided to buy it... When they rang it up, the price for the thing came out to be $9.97, i was like... WHOA, WTF?!?

So basically, I got a pretty cool new toy for $10. The chepeast is $63-70 at buy.com or outpost.com. The store in Los Angeles, near USC has ONE left... it's an open box, mine wasn't..

Sku# 122004

good luck!

You got to keep on trying, sometimes you get lucky. I cant tell you the many times that i have left my computer online, with the top IE window displaying these forums. THen jumping in my car to fly down to my local OD, To find out they have been clened out by then.. If you get my point.

It's kind of dangerous.
but
dont
give up.

Carmat: Ha, me too! You should have seen me fly out of my apartment when I saw the Palm's!

I did not get one though! :(

Cheers!

The key to the OD deals is finding something without a price and then asking for a pricecheck. I've gotten a few 13.6 gig WD 5400s for $49.88 and I've got my eye on the 17 gigs. Totally missed the Palm VIIs, although my local store had one is stock but, after a long hold (5+ minutes), it was "sold this morning". I'm sort of lucky, there are two on my way into work.

I used to have an OD with deals, but I think the employees saw people buying a couple grand worth of stuff for <$100 once too often, and now the employees clean it out before I get there (that, or say they simply don't know what I am talking about). Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
