Upcoming Hot Games for 2008!

I know this is the PC gaming forum but I decided to include 360/PS3 games so owners of all 3 (or 2) platforms can decide which version of the game to get and for PC-only owners to decide whether a console might be of their interest in the future.

Maybe I'll include DS/PSP in a future update, this is really just to remind everyone of the great releases coming out this year, feel free to suggest any other hot game for 2008 I might have missed.

This is divided in sections, first all the 360-exclusives (as in completely exclusive), then the PS3 exclusives, then PC exclusives, then Wii exclusives, then 360-PS3-Wii, 360-PS3, PC-360 and finally games available on the 360-PS3-PC. (There are no games available only for PC and PS3 and only two games available for ALL platforms so I just made a clarification in the 360-PS3-Wii in bold). The format is [name of the game] - [developer (not publisher)] - [genre] - [release date] and are organized by their release date. Additionally, the name of games will be bolded as they are release and their metacritic score will be put in parenthesis next to the release date (in bold also).

***This game is already available on Xbox 360 but due to hardware differences it's substantially different from the 360 release, whether it's worth purchasing over the 360 version or re-purchasing it again for Wii is yet to be seen.

the only game on that list of yours that I am looking forward to is GTA IV for the PC, I truly cannot wait for that title to arrive.
I did notice one title that I am also looking forward to, I am not too sure if it is even going to be available for the PC is Lego Batman, I am a big fan of all the lego games releases to date and I think that the batman is going to be great. I am very happy with the Lego Indiana Jones for the 360 but I sold my 360 to a buddy of mine who had his stolen from his apartment over the weekend. I went out and bought the PC version of lego indiana jones but I am having some real problems with being able to bind actions to my microsoft wingman controller, if anybody has any ideas I would appreciate it.
Well that is all for now, what does anybody else have to say about this long list of games?

You may wish to add the 2nd NWN2 expansion to the PC exclusives, Storm of Zehir. Not sure what the release date is exactly, but the last I heard, it was this fall/winter.

It does look like slim pickings for me though, the most interesting titles are The Witcher:EE, Colonization, and SoZ. Most of the other titles are merely luke warm to me.

However, I do look forward to FFXIII on the PS3, whenever they actually do finish it. FF games don't always suit me, but they always have a great storyline.

Gears 2 im definately getting, putting crysis and spore in the maybe pile. Everything else looks meh... i own most of the games worth owning anyway like GTA IV and Bully.

Littlebigplanet for the PS3 looks like a lot of fun, im in the xbox camp though so i wont be playing it unless it gets ported

Crysis Warhead will just be more of Crysis so extremly boring.

Dawn of War 2 is supposed to come out June/July 2009.
