Does anyone know if this Sceptre LCD TV will be available at Costco B&M stores? I'd rather pick it up myself than to pay for shipping. Thanks!

..I haven't noticed any prob's with the remote..but I'am not using it much either..I use the Sceptre to watch dvd's thru the S-video connector. I did connect a pair of rabbit ears to the tuner just to see if it works..I don't have cable and hardly ever watch broadcast tv..and I was able to get all the locals on a pair of rabbit ears. The speakers don't come off..which was an issue when I started to research large flat panels..but now that I have it and see excellent fit and finish..it no longer bothers me. The sub woof.works well and if you choose to use the speakers..will balance the overall sonic ecperience. Like I said in a prev.post I just may end up getting another when it goes on sale.
Sounds promising! Been reading nice stuff about this, and if I may here are some AVS links. I hope im not breaking rules just trying to provide info:

does it really have 2 sets of YPbPr component input ? The Syntax Olevia I bought has 1 set and another of YCbCr.... 2 would be real nice. I ended up having to buy a $25 switch on ebay for it.

Don't want to pay shipping for this as it kind of kills the deal.

My shipping was $52.73 friend. I checked with 5 Costco's locally over the weekend and none of the locations had this particular model in-store. Looks to me like it could be an internet deal only.
I wonder if you were to return it to the store, say unopened.. and re-buy it at $899.99+tax.
You could save the shipping, in your case $56.00.
Would be worth a try

issues:
- dvi cable not included (using pny video cards)
- eyestrain (resolution 1280x1024 (can't change refresh rate 60hertz)
had to switch to 1024x768 for 75hertz
- regular tv looks pretty crappy/grainy, crappy remote as everyone else mentioned
anyone using this lcd w/ this card....need input as to get
what's with the ati hdtv wonder cards? sold out @ati shopping site, buy.com...
is there some sort of manufacturing shortage or high consumer demand?
good big screen monitor overall, no flicker/buzzing/humming sounds....
more pricey hardware just to run sachs marine aquarium
edit: oh the driver for lcd @ sceptre site is not microsoft certified

Dude, you don't get eyestrain w/ LCD's. The refresh rate is different than on CRT's.
