people's tastes seem to dramatically shift as to what they like seeing featured for DOTDs.... DVDs and computer related items seem to be popular..

I just took a look and some new items were rotated in...not much for the next few days, highlights include Blair Witch DVD, a canon inkjet, and well...some other stuff..

not going to give specific dates or prices though...sorry folks 😛
i'll post again when more items are put into rotation..

MrBakeSan, I've read your DOTD posts and this is most definitly the right forum for this thread. (Wanker..I mean Wangler, may not have known you have inside info on DOTD). I was wondering, if I use a returning cust. coupon but cancel the order within the first 30 minutes, can I use the same coupon on a different purchase?

I'm not trying to rain on the parade here, but I always wonder why you stop short of giving us specifics? Just posting here is no doubt in violation of whatever rules you're trying to stay on the right side of. I really can't imagine that giving us the dates for the items, if you know them, is going to get you in any more trouble than simply posting here in the first place will.

actually, as far as I know, I'm not violating any rules...I'm stopping short on giving everything out simply cuz of my own paranoia =T

and often actually, the data on like specific day or pricing just simply isn't availble yet..
(or in some cases, personal friends of mine have expressed interest so in the attempt to help them try to get a jump on the crowd, I'll tell them specifically what days to expect.. 🙂 )

coupons I believe don't get attached to your order history unless it's processed all the way through the basket, i.e. you've checked out. if you've checked out and cancelled w/in our 30 minute grace period however....HMMMM....that's a good question..let me ask the basket dude..

hehe. I was looking at the Dreamcast dotd just a couple of days ago when it had 300 in stock... Shoulda bought one and sold it for profit or something, lol. Already bought one long time ago for myself.
 
MrBakaSan - Can you drop a few hints off with the marketing folks/basket dude/or even Greg Hawkins that we want the SONY Laptop?

Any guesses on when that might be offered again?

I have a question that no CSR at buy.com has been able to answer. Is BUY.com gonna get the sblive platinum 5.1 or not? Almost all other bigstores have them but buy.com doesnt.
 
If he did give specifics someone at buy.com would get mad and send a "make them Sh*t their pants" letter threatening legal action to anandtech.com and then the mods would rain down upon us with great fury and wraith.

I'd like to see a DOTD on a new, popular DVD, not ones that have been out for months like Matrix or Blair Witch. How about Jurassic Park for $8.99?
