This is sweet! We hardly ever get this much snow. I can't remember the last time we DID get this much. It is still coming down too. if it continues like this, may make it to 2 feet.

I knew you damn canucks and northerners would come in here talking smack..but come on...it gets up to 100 degrees in the summer, with 75%+ humidity. To get over a foot of snow is huge.
 
LOL, I love how the weather forecasters here are always DEAD WRONG!!!

Three weeks ago they said we'd have a major ice event that would cripple the city for days. Ice came, lasted all of half a day, next day it was 60 degrees.

Two weeks ago they said we'd have a major snowfall. We got rain.

Just last week they said we'd have snow again. It was SUNNY and 45 the next day.

Last night they said we'd have 3-5" of snow max, and that the system would move in by mid-afternoon, impact evening rush hour a bit, and be over by dinner.
 
I don't think the valley I live in has had a foot of snow but 2-3 times the entire time it's been in existence.

But oh well, i'm going to the mountains this weekend....so yay 😀
 
Post again tommorow after it snows, if they say 12" it really means 3". We are supposed to get up to a foot of snow, but I doubt it's going to happen.😎:beer:

Eh? Talking to me? The news said 2-4", we have 14" so far. They say it is coming down at a rate of 1-2" per hour..so since it is still coming down, I forsee us having up to 2 feet at the max.

My yard shows 16" of snow in SW Charlotte. 🙂

Now I finally may get to build a Snowman for the little ones.🙂
