Thanks, ordered that for my wife as a Christmas gift. Wanted to get them for her at some point and this seemed like probably the best deal I would see, barring black Friday that is.

Good deal

On a sidenote, I just read that the digital copies expire after 1 year, that's fucked up. The movie studios keep shooting themselves it the foot. I thought I could save sometime and use their digital copy, but I'll have to rip the dvd.

Very good deal, It's nice to see bluray prices approaching DVD. Too bad playing bluray on PC is such a pain in the ass.

For those who don't want Monsters but want $10 off,

click the UP link under Special Offers and Promotions heading

or from Amazon's Home page > Today's Deal > Best Deals > More of Our Best Deals ... to the "Up" offer for $10 off good until Nov 10

Go there, choose The 4 pack DVD/Blue ray of both UP and Monsters inc, and use code UPBLURAY at checkout. Total is $26 shipped.

After purchase, go back and create another order with UP, MOnsters and Cars. Use code PIXARBL. Total is $32 shipped. 5 perfect gifts for less than $12 each. Best part is that even if who you give it to doesn't have blueray, they have DVD's. Sweet, you also give them an upgrade path.

The REDEMPTION codes for the Digital Copies expire a year after the DVD is released, but once they are redeemed and downloaded the DCs should work indefinitely. (I'm just not sure if they are portable from one computer to another after they are authorized, however).

Q. Do the copies expire?
A. Many do. Check your packaging for dates. The Digital Copy on The Dark Knight, for example, expires on December 9, 2009, one year after the DVD/Blu-ray was first released.
Q. Does "expire" mean that the Digital Copy will no longer be watchable after that date?
A. No, it means that you can no longer download it to your computer or handheld device after that date. The copy isn't what's expiring; it's the download code.
