Unwise to run a .exe?

...from one hard drive using the windows xp on my boot hard drive? Seems like it'd be okay, but I am aware this may cause some OS confusion.

I'm not 100% sure what you're asking, but you should have no problems running an xp program from whatever disk on whatever xp install.

You have a exe file on a secondary drive. As long as the program does not need any registry entires with the OS, it should work.

Should be zero issues.

Heck, i run some .exe files over a network, & they even work aight.
